Tinea versicolor is a fungal infection that happens superficially on to our body. Though it is told to be harmless but it can be very irritating. Tinea can be seen when a person has discolored skin that are scaly in nature. They become more noticeable when one is exposed to sun. The patches that are associated with Tinea versicolor can be of different color. The normal treatment for this disease is treating it with lotions that have anti-fungal effect, shampoos or gels.
